Hello my Name is Sue Fee. I am the Owner & Creator of Fees Home Fragrance. I am a wife, Mother & Nanna, actually Narna!
In 2016 I decided to turn my then 10 year hobby into a business. When I started I worked from my kitchen melting wax in pans of boiling water and set up an eBay shop. That is when my first business was born.
As many will know, our business was called Crafty Zebras. Over the years I started taking over most of the house with my stock despite Dan's protests! At this point we decided my small eBay shop needed to be replaced with our website.
In 2020 I managed to persuade Dan that it was time for us to move our business to a purpose built unit in our garden.
Being Self Employed is not for the faint hearted though! I have had amazing highs and the lowest of lows. I have lost sleep and cried tears, both happy and sad.
2021 really wasn't a good year for us. I lost my Grandparents and my Daughters health started to deteriorate and I just got totally overwhelmed. I really did think I couldn't go on and needed to shut my business.
A few months in I didn't feel any better, I felt worse! I started to realise that I had worked so hard to build this my business. I had also gained some amazing customers in the process. I realised that what I thought was adding extra problems I actually needed!!
By the end of 2021 I knew I needed to pull back what I had lost but, but come back full force! I wanted to make my business bigger and better!
At this point I decided to go into 2022 with a full rebrand and a full work shop make over.
This is when we became Fees Home Fragrance.
Through the years we have had, and continue to have, trials and tribulations. One thing we have always been able to do as a family is dust ourselves off and go again. We have always tried to use the same mantra in our business. One good thing that has come out of all of this is this is that we are now truly a family business with all of us our family involved.
So here we are here! Rebuilding, expanding and enjoying life again! None of this could be done that without our amazing customers! Some of you (you know who you are) have been with us through thick and thin!
